The mission of Kasoka’s Academic council for technical education is to enrich student’s technical knowledge and instill the traits necessary to grab global opportunities by developing educational framework through committed faculty, technologists and industrialists.


Composition of Academic Council:


The academic council serves as the principal academic authority of the institution and it is responsible for planning, co-ordination, development of all academic work/curricular and co-curricular activities of institution

  2. Secretary
  3. HOD’s of Civil, Mechanical, Automobile, EEE and ECE
  4. Senior faculty members
  5. Librarian
  6. Technologists
  7. Industrialists

Duties & Responsibilities:


  1. Approve DOTE, Chennai proposals with regard to courses of study, academic regulations, curricula, syllabi and modifications thereof, instructional and evaluation arrangements, methods, procedures relevant thereto.
  2. Admission of students to different programmes of study in the college keeping in view the policy of the Government.
  3. 3. To approve the academic calendar.
  4. Plan for the academic year ahead.
  5. Conduct internal academic meeting in the beginning of every semester and academic audit at the end of every semester.
  6. Academic report by individual departments.
  7. Examination and Result.
  8. Result Analysis.
  9. Placement of students.
  10. Student’s skill development programmes.
  11. FDP for faculty.
  12. Offer suggestions pertaining to academic affairs.
  13. Make regulations for sports, extra-curricular activities and proper maintenance and functioning of the playgrounds and hostels.
  14. Take periodical review of the activities of the Departments and to take appropriate action with a view to maintaining and improving standards of instruction.
  15. To exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as may be conferred from time to time.
