It is an introduction to electronics hardware and software,telecommunication engineering which deals with mobiles, antennas, VLSI Processors etc.

The department started functioning in the year 2013 with well qualified faculty members specialized in applied electronics, Electronics and control etc..who strive for establishing a Centre of excellence in technical education which in turn will bring out technocrats with superior skill and social commitment.

  • Electronics and Communication department has the following Laboratory facility .


    The laboratories are well equipped with modern training facilities that cater to the requirements of the DOTE syllabus as well as the requirements of the industry. The Department has well experienced faculty and Staff of proven ability and diverse specialization. The department also conducts industrial visits depending upon the DOTE syllabus to improve the practical skills to the students and expose them to acquire with the actual industrial environment as well as to derive the motivation to an aspiring career. Labs in Electrical and Electronics Department:

    1.Electronic Devices and Circuits Lab: Teaches about basic electronic devices and the chacteristics;

    2. Electrical Circuits and Instrumentation Lab: Teaches about circuits basics,how to measure Electrical properties and how to use CRO. Computer Application Lab: Teaches about Basic Computer usage.

    3. Industrial Electronics and Communication Engineering: Teaches about basic communication setups,circuits,industrial Electronics Circuits and PLC Programming.

    4. Integrated Circuit Lab: Teaches about important IC's

    5. ACS Lab: Teaches about advanced communication concept

    6. MC Lab: Teaches about 8085 programming and Interfacing Concepts.

    7. VLSI Lab: Teaches about VLDL and VLSI IC making.

    8. Embedded System Lab: Teaches Embedded C programming and ARM programming, Serial,Interrupt Concepts.

    9. CHN Lab: Teaches how to setup laptop,networks and servers.

    10. Simulation Lab: Teaches about circuit drawing and simulating and PCB making

  • Electronics and Communication Department Activities


    In plant training


    Students were provided with mandatory IPT (Inplant Training) programme for about four weeks, after completing their four semesters during the course of study. After successfully completing the programme, students are directed to take IPT seminar in the class rooms and also to submit the reports individually. Students are awarded for their best IPT seminars by the department.,
