The department started functioning in the year 2013 with well qualified faculty members specialized in Power Systems, Power Electronics, Electrical Machines etc., who strive for establishing a Centre of excellence in technical education which in turn will bring out technocrats with superior skill and social commitment.
The students are motivated by their guidance not only for their academics, but also for industrial & research work. The department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering moves with a vision to produce competent and disciplined Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

The Vision of Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department is “To train the students to be employable, professionally skilled and Social Relevant Engineers”.

• To contribute in Electrical & Electronics Field and to solve socially relevant problems.
• To pursue Professional Development through Continuing or Advanced Education in Electrical & Electronics for their career growth .
• To function effectively in multidisciplinary groups as a member and also develop capabilities to assume the position of leadership.

PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOME (PSO)

• Apply the knowledge acquired from Mathematics, Circuit Theory, Electrical Machines, Power Electronics, Power Systems, Analog and Digital Electronics to design and solve the problems arising in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• Apply the practical knowledge acquired from practical subjects to deal with the maintenance, production, innovative developments in Industry, to be a valuable employee or entrepreneur.
